Which Is The Worst For You: Saturated Fat, Cholesterol, Or Sodium?
Even though these are all bad in large amounts, what is the worst one of all? In my opinion, I think it’s sodium because you can be fat and still be healthy and you can also eat a lot of cholesterol-laden foods and still be healthy if you have good genes.
But sodium not only contributes to high blood pressure but is also toxic in high amounts. It’s easier to overdose on sodium than it is to overdose on saturated fat or cholesterol. What do you guys think?

All are healthy for you. And no…. low sodium diet does not reduce high blood pressure. It’s best to eat the natural sea salt not the refined bleached salts. Cholesterol does not cause heart disease. And Saturated fat is the preferred fuel for the heart. Sodium. Some fats are good in moderation so long as it’s not trans fats which are bad fats. There are also good and bad cholesterols. Sodium should be taken in small amounts. You are right that too much sodium contributes to high blood pressure.
..cholesterol bec. this will lead to heart disease. we are always expose on cholesterol based products so i think this is the worst of all..
sodium? no way? what do ur cell use for impulses and stuff: sodium (and potassium) in fact u need electrolytes to LIVE (hence ppl recommend to eat something salty after heavy drinking : so that u dont die)
Also u need cholesterol: its used as a binding agent in cells
finally u need: saturated fat for energy
my point being that its the doses that u must be careful (oh and about the toxicity of sodium: everything in large enough doses is toxic: 8L of water, pure oxygen -> lethal)

I think they all have their disadvantages and I don’t particularly care which is worse for you; they all are in large amounts – as you said
they are all really bad… they kinda inter-twine with 1nother… cause they all can lead to the same negative diagnosis
I am with you on the sodium. It can cause high blood pressure and also cause you to have a stroke like my husband 14 months ago.

I guess they are all bad, but you could have an heart attack with high cholesterol amount. Don’t you hate that all the good foods are bad for you, sucks big time.
