What Is The Truth About Egg Yolks And High Ldl Cholesterol?
I have read lots of conflicting information about this – high cholesterol in yolks but differing views about their consumption and method of cooking. Is the dried whole egg in shops a viable substitute?

Dried whole egg in shops cannot be a substitute. You can use egg white and discard egg yolk if you LDL is high. If it is normal you may take upto 4 eggs a week.
The truth?
The truth is that A LOT of money is made perpetuating the cholesterol MYTH
The CHICANERY and FRAUD of Dr. Ancel Keys started the whole anti- saturated fat mania. See what really happened here, video PROOF http://www.fathead-movie.com
You will see Dr. Robert Olson PLEADING with Senator McGovern (Ancel Keys’s political henchman for pushing the scientifically unfounded low saturated fat agenda)’ Dr. Robert Olson was a REAL scientist and said “we need more research on the matter”.
NUMEROUS scientists and doctors at the time cried foul on Ancel Keys’ fraud. Ancel Keys had much political power being an advisor to the AHA . The media latched on to his scientifically unfounded assertions and the rest is history. Ancel Keys was looking to make a name for himself and was one of those guys that could never be incorrect and would publicly insult others who challenged his false assertions
See this video about eggs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjdy0n_gJ...
Once they discovered they could measure blood cholesterol levels THAT is when it turned into a money making scam
The greatest tragedy of the perpetuation the cholesterol MYTH is the DIVERSION from valuable scientific attention and precious funding for the REAL CAUSES of coronary artery disease.
Now things that DO cause coronary artery disease? Having elevated blood sugar, stress , blood pessure, homocysteine, poor nitric oxide levels all are directly causal coronary artery disease

The government food gurus have reversed their decision so many times that it isn’t even cute any more.
Actually no food causes any of the problems with cholesterol as seen from big pharma who are only out to get your bucks!!
I took the statin drugs for 10 years and did not eat any of the foods supposedly causing higher LDL numbers. The drugs did nothing but flatten my budget and cause muscle cramps.
I have returned to eating avocados, shrimp, eggs, and natural saturated fats like whole milk, cream and butter. I feel better and am now losing weight. LDL Cholesterol is coming down with weight loss!!
Hi!! I would like to put my view to this subject to attempt to show how futile these theories can be. In 1945 i came out of the RAF disabled and spent 4yrs in and out of hospital getting over the disabilities. Food was short, and not much variety, so to help me get more nourishment, without bulk i decided i would have 4 raw eggs a day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Also i had one green salad a day. This as well as my 3 meals a day.
I cotinued this routine for 4 years. I am now 87 yrs old. i have not needed a doctor for more than 14yrs.
All my levels that people worry over are normal.
Be your own judge, know how you feel, and take no notice of all this scare mongering.
You body is a wonderful self repairing entity, trust it , it will give you signs when it needs attention.
Eggs are really good for you – yolk and white.
Stress and the chemicals released by your body because of it , cause more health probs than eating eggs.
In fact – new research leads to the fact that eggs may lower your cholestrol.
Just eat good food and be happy – and you’ll be ok.
