Is White Spots Under Your Eyes A Sign Of High Cholesterol?

I have a white spot under my eye on both sides. i just noticed them.. i am a little heavy right now due to pregnancy, and i was just wondering if thats a sign of a cholesterol issue? My whole family has high cholesterol AND heart issues .. if it is, how can i lower my cholesterol safely?
