How Can I Reduce My Cholesterol Level?

I recently had some bloods taken and doctor wants to do some more blood tests as she is a little concerned that cholesterol level is higher than last years test. BUT I gave up smoking 74 days ago and at the moment I am eating lots more chocolate and biscuits to compensate for the loss of cigarettes. Will this increase my cholesterol levels?

  1. Yes, those items will increase your cholesterol levels. Here’s something that will reduce your cholesterol levels: FIBER.
Fiber is nature’s ultimate body equalizer and balancer. You must incorporate 35 grams of fiber per day into your diet, and a year from now, or even three months from now, your blood tests will reflect a much lower cholesterol level. Protein, carbs, and fats must still be eaten, but in the right amounts. However, eat 35 grams of fiber a day through your fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, seeds, and legumes, and you will lose weight and lower your cholesterol at a healthy pace.
Here is a product that has helped me immensely in reducing my cholesterol levels and getting down to my ideal weight range of 169-184 lbs. Check out this link for details, and good luck to you!http://www.applepatchdiet.com/cg80872/

  2. Eat no fat at all. Chocolate contains fat as do biscuits so will push up cholesterol. Go for healthy spreads made from vegetable oil. Health food store chewy bars etc will satisfy your compensation for not smoking.
Congratulations on giving up by the way. I gave up about forty years ago having smoked 40 a day. Well worth the effort.
